This pullover is inspired by a story found in John chapter 8 in the Bible. The scribes and Pharisees were telling Jesus about a woman caught in adultery and Jesus replied to them saying that whoever was without sin could throw a stone at her first. In other words, only whoever was sinless had the right to judge her. We have all fallen short. None of us are sinless. Jesus is the only one who has the right to throw stones, yet He doesn’t...He serves. He meets people where they are. He loves them through their mess. He looks past their faults and sees His child. His kindness leads to repentance. We are called to serve like He does. We are called to live like He does. We are called to extend compassion, kindness, and love. It doesn’t mean sin is excused, it means judgement isn’t ours but God’s.
